It would be an understatement to say we had a blast at Dogfest this past weekend! We always enjoy making new friends, but we love when our Campers come see us at events!
Our four and a half hours at Chesterfield Family Center Park were filled with smiling faces from new and old friends! Thank you all so much for coming to visit us! You made our fun filled Saturday ten times better!
Our next event will be Pets and Pumpkins! It will be on Saturday, October 15th on Historic Commercial Street from noon to five PM! Get your fur child’s Halloween costume out early and come see us!
For the safety of your dog, and all of the other dogs at Camp, we require all of our Campers to be up-to-date on three vaccines at all times. These vaccines are:
Viruses can easily be transmitted through interactions with an infected dog. At Camp, we require a copy of every dog’s vaccination history from their vet on the day of their Interview. We also require all of our Campers to be updated regularly, and again provide us with vaccination updates.
We are always happy to answer any questions you may have about our vaccination requirements! Don’t forget to ask your vet about the vaccinations they are providing your dog as well!
It’s like Christmas morning every time the UPS or FedEx men deliver us packages! This week we got our new banner in the mail!
As you know, we participate in local events multiple times a year to spread the word about the services we offer here at Camp Bow Wow. This weekend is DogFest, and our new banner is here just in time!
Be sure to stop by and see us this Saturday, September 24th, at Chesterfield Family Center park! DogFest will be from 10 AM to 2:30 PM!
It’s easy to get into a routine and only bring your fur child to Day Camp on your busiest days of the week. We want you to know that it is perfectly fine to break your routine and bring your four-legged friend ANY day of the week you need them to come play!
You don’t need to worry about reserving a spot for Day Camp! We will be happy to see your pup, any day and any time!
Adrienne has been at Camp with us for almost two years, and she has recently taken on more responsibilities to become a Shift Leader!
Growing up, Adrienne always wanted a dog to call her own so she found ways to get her puppy fix! She spent one summer working with dogs from a local shelter and children before she heard about Camp Bow Wow. She jumped on the opportunity to work at Camp and we have loved having her ever since!
It is a rare occasion to see Adrienne without her fur child, Remington (more commonly known as Remi). Remi is a one-year old Saint Bernard/Boxer/Border Collie mix with a big personality! He loves coming to Camp and chasing birds!
At Camp, you can typically find Adrienne giving baths and hanging out by the doggie pools! Outside of Camp, she enjoys the outdoors by exploring new hiking trails and going on float trips! Adrienne is studying Wildlife Biology at Missouri State University – which we think is perfect for her outdoorsy personality!
Whether you are bringing your dog to Camp for day care or boarding, we want him to go home as clean as possible! Let’s be honest, you wouldn’t really be getting your money’s worth if your pup didn’t go home smelling like dog! Here are the grooming services we offer:
- Basic Bath – This includes a good shampooing, ear cleaning, and blow drying!
- Nail Trim – We use a Dremel, so the process is softer on your pup, and your skin!
- Hydro Bath – An hour-long process that includes brushing with a FURminator, shampooing, conditioning, a nail trim – and more brushing!
We schedule baths as close to your pick-up time as possible, so that your dog goes home as clean as can be! Don’t forget to schedule a bath and nail trim at your next visit!
As you know, one of our favorite parts about working at Camp is taking pictures of your pups! We have way too much fun trying to get the cutest pictures of them smiling and posing for the camera! We do our best to find their good side and best angles to show off their adorable faces.
With that being said, a lot of pictures are taken in the process! By a lot, we mean A LOT. We love going through the blooper reels and finding the pictures that really show your dog’s personality! Between photo bombs, yawns, closed eyes, tongues out, mid barks, and jumping with excitement, we have seen it all! Your dogs never fail to put a smile on our faces and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
